Compensation determination is an important, yet frustrating part of any HR professional’s job. After all, deciding who gets what and why is no easy task. It takes an extraordinary amount of balance to align the interests of employees, executives and regulators. Particularly since these interests are almost always at odds with one another.

 -Learn how to examine for external and internal equity.

 -Discuss the role of benefits and incentives.

Bring any sources of survey data you are comfortable with - even if they are a year or two old.

Please bring your laptop as you will be doing some work in Excel.
